This self-portrait, created during the pandemic, depicts me dressed in pristine white, with blank white eyes, as if my gaze were suspended in a state of uncertainty. On my painting mask, I attached various objects and elements, constructing a visual metaphor for viruses and their invisible presence. The piece captures the confusion, fragility, and need for protection that defined that time, turning a personal experience into a collective symbol.
